SUMMARY
This position functions is a working leadership role responsible for maintenance, repair and use of assigned building and grounds. The candidate is expected to perform all custodial duties while executing supervisory duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all custodial duties, as required.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of building custodians; provide training and information for performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and run building operations leadership team meetings and walkthroughs monthly
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, related to cleaning/chemicals, processes and procedures.
- Prepare work schedules, arrange for additional staffing when needed, and review and verify time and absence reports.
- Assist in conducting fire and safety drills, respond to building emergencies and report vandalism.
- Conduct periodic and monthly inspections of building, grounds, equipment, and materials as required by the DHS, warranties, or legal guidelines.
- Maintain an inventory of materials and supplies, recommend purchases and assist in preparing requisitions and specifications.
- Verify and report contractor work authorizations/orders and inspect work and deliveries prior to signing receipts or work orders.
- Coordinate and assist in snow removal.
- Supervise housekeeping requirements for special events.
- Maintain work records and prepare reports as directed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Shift: Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
